EDUCATION

Mrs. Hooten received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the esteemed Harding University in Arkansas, and went on to attend law school at Cumberland School of Law. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar and all Federal Courts in Alabama. During her time in law school at Cumberland, she was on their National Trial Team for 2 consecutive years and was the Chief Judge of the Trial Board. Throughout her education, she excelled academically and gained the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful attorney.

PERSONAL LIFE

I received a speeding ticket in Alabama while I was headed to Florida. Even though I live out of state, I was going to show up and represent myself in court, but my schedule didn’t line up. Did Exactly What I needed When I needed.
When I unfairly received a speeding ticket in a speed trap Joseph C Kreps helped it not stay on my record. As a non-Alabama resident finding a lawyer to avoid the costly points and increased insurance premiums was difficult. I called many lawyers but many would not help with the county I had received the ticket in, and one wanted almost $800 just to take the case. However for a reasonable $200 Kreps Fought on my behalf and allowed me to avoid any points on my license.
